I watched a video about mmorpgs and the man recommend osrs over 3 why is that? How is it better? It is all perspective. People who perform osrs despise rs3, no matter what rs3 has or does they will despise it. They might have never even attempted the sport but to them it is the worst game ever. Some in the rs3 community have the same thinking about osrs - cheap OSRS gold,
My advice, do not be concerned about what other people think. Try both and decide based upon the one that you like the most. As soon as you start focusing on you and not what others believe you'll have much more enjoyable. That really goes for Rs and virtually everything else in life. I dislike the management behind it, but I still think RS3 is essentially an excellent match that I miss playingwith. However, I really don't need to return because of the staff running it.
Some of us stop RS3 to get OSRS yes, but that does not equate to some hate for the game. Some people just don't like the management of the game. Some people do not like MTX, folks have their reasons for not enjoying beyond blind hatred. I will acknowledge that yes, there are plenty of OSRS players that dislike RS3 despite having no experience with it, but not all people are like that.
The very same folks who run RS3 additionally run OSRS. The difference is hindsight. The business understands that it made some bad decisions and steered RS3 in the wrong direction so they released OSRS to attempt to recuperate players that stopped when EoC came out. They now run OSRS by letting the players steer the management of the game so they could maintain player retention. That's why you don't have surprise MTX upgrades or any comprehensive combat system rewrites.
Do not hate the business for attempting to cater to both audiences. They have players that prefer the old style of game play and many others who favor the more modern fashion MMO where things are extremely afk and battle is much more nuanced and complex.Ironman Mode contains one of the best challenges Old School RuneScape has to offer. Instead of playing cooperatively with the numerous players logged onto the match, players are forced to be self explanatory. They cannot trade items with other players, can't play many minigames, and are unable to access nearly all other group activities. With Hardcore Ironman and Ultimate Ironman locking even more features away, Old School RuneScape is the best game mode for long term fans of this sport seeking to show their skills. Training in Ironman Mode, especially for free-to-play gamers, takes specific knowledge to avoid having an uphill battle too difficult to overcome.
The majority of coins players will probably be spending is on arrows and runes. However, there are several other items offering boosts they should also be contemplating. Beer increases strength by 4% and Energy potions can increase energy by 10 percent too. Any weapons and armor must be carefully considered for purchase in case a better option could be found dropped from enemies. Of course, there is the armor that this game style is famed for: Ironman Armor. There are 3 kinds, one Ironman Mode, one for Hardcore Ironman Mode, and one for Ultimate Ironman Mode. Eventually, players will discover much better armor, but this starting installation works for the beginning of the game.
The only way to get these important runes is through drops, so Ironman players being unable to trade with other players, have to know which enemies drop them. Runes are significant in Old School RuneScape (it's in the name of this game) as they are expected to cast spells. Especially as Ironman players are on their own, they need to be sure they have the right runes for whatever spell to get out of serious jams.
It may be a challenge to conserve run energy in Ironman however smart players find ways around this. Canoes are great for transport as possible for any players that have a high enough woodworking ability and an axe to use OSRS GP. Home teleports are useful for this and will help get players into a place where it will not be too much to walk into. Another speedy travel tip is to claim to become an outlaw to Shantay at Shantay's Pass. This will get players automatically transported to the Port Sarim jail that could be faster than running and walking.
